About the author
Micha³ Bojanowski is a researcher in the Research Team on Comparative Social Inequality in the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology Polish Academy of Sciences (IFiS PAN). Currently, he is also affiliated with Inter-university Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS) and its division at the Utrecht University in The Netherlands.
His main interests focus on mathematical and statistical models in the social sciences. Especially, on structure and dynamics of social relations where ties are created strategically. His other interests include data analysis, statistics, and statistical computing, rational choice, decision and game theory.
His current work focuses on dynamics of relations in heterogeneous groups of actors. This project is a part of Utrecht University High Potential Program Dynamics of Cooperation, Networks and Institutions coordinated by Vincent Buskens and Stephanie Rosenkranz.
He is a member of International Network for Social Network Analysis, and ISA Research Committee on Social Stratification and Mobility (ISA RC28) and a reviewer for Social Networks journal.
